Sonaer’s ultrasonic atomizer nozzles convert various solutions into fine droplets without the use of air pressure. Liquids are pumped through a small orifice within the center of the nozzle and are pulverized into very fine droplets by the nozzles piston like motion, creating uniform spherical particles. Nozzles produce very little over spray and have a narrow droplet distribution curve and are excellent for thin film coatings of all types. The link at the left will bring up the many choices of atomizer nozzle for various applications.
Bench top ultrasonic atomizer nozzle generator with built-in VMD droplet simulator and menu for selecting up to eight nozzles and operational features. Generator is stat-of-the-art able operate any ultrasonic atomizer nozzle or probe including competitors from 20kHz to 600kHz and has virtually unlimited bandwidth under increased loads and frequency changes due to elevated temperatures.
Sonaer’s 2.4 megahertz nebulizer module makes the smallest droplet size of all ultrasonic products. The nebulizer is small and compact, comes with fluoropolymer seals or viton. PFA coated or gold crystal is chemically inert for most solutions. Operates from 24VDC and can easily be made into arrays for increased output of droplets. Within the nebulizer chamber is a .75mm thick crystal that vibrates like a diaphragm. This motion propagates ultrasonic waves through solutions where it reaches the surface. A smoky mist is generated from these waves and are carried off with a low velocity air or gas source. For more information about this product, click link at the left.
Sonaer’s 2.4 megahertz particle generator makes the smallest droplet size of all ultrasonic products. The 241PGT/PG particle generator is a menu driven self contained nebulizer with variable power control, variable air flow with user selectable timer. At the rear of the unit is connection for remotely activating and deactivating droplet production. Sonaer also has accessories that attach to the unit to switch from air to gas, including laminar flow, adapters from sanitary to KF-40, reducers and much more. Sonaer offers flexible leasing options for researchers and labs needing short- or long-term access to our Atomizer Nozzle, Generator, and Syringe Pump systems. Choose from monthly, 6-month, 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year plans starting at $650/month, with reduced rates for longer terms.
Customers who like Sonaer’s products and have an application they like to explore, engineers will look at the specifications and design a piezoelectric transducer to fit the process or application. The owner has been designing ultrasonic transducers for over thirty years from phacoemulsifiers for cateract removal, wave propagation through thin nitinol and titanium wires to remove arterial plaque, special catheters for kidneystone fragmentation using ultrasonic waveguide and the like.
Sonaer droplet measuring system consists of the Sympatec HELOS particle sizer. If a customer wishes to size their products droplet formation, Sonaer will provide this service based on the customers requirements. Inquire for price information
Sonaer atomizer nozzle arrays are configured to handle multiple coating jobs at one time. Nozzles are configured in a row or matrix and can be operated individually or at one time for precise coatings. For limited areas the pitch of our nozzles can be reduced by operating without the
Sonaer multi-element arrays for increased output generation of droplets. Nebulizer arrays are made to customers specification and come in either 1.65MHz or 2.4MHz.
Sonaer has the capability to make consumer products with our ultrasonic technology. Using 3D printers and CAD software, we can easily make plastic housings or attachments for injection molding and integrating the designs with our atomizer nozzles. Since our atomizer nozzles are made in titanium alloy, this is used because of the metals inertness to chemicals and excellent sound properties.
