Ultrasonic Atomizer Nozzle Generator

This bench-top ultrasonic atomizer nozzle generator is engineered to run any ultrasonic nozzle or probe, including competitor models, across a wide 20 kHz to 600 kHz range. It features a built-in VMD droplet simulator and a menu system supporting up to eight nozzles and multiple operating modes.

Its internal microprocessor and advanced software automatically adapt to changing loads, temperatures, and liquid flow rates, ensuring stable atomization. Power can be adjusted in 1% increments or fine 0.3% steps for precise performance.

Special modes such as TURBO (for thick liquids like oils, slurries, glues, and polymers) and AAPA (Auto Atomization Power Adjustment) allow reliable operation even at low flow rates or when using micro feed tubes. Constant Power mode enhances process repeatability for coating applications.

The generator also includes fault detection, LCD/GUI alerts, and multiple control options, making it suitable for both laboratory and automated production environments.

VMD Droplet simulator

Sonaer propriety Volume Mean Diameter (VMD) droplet simulator built-in all ultrasonic power generators. Using the droplet simulator, customer’s are able to select and change values for viscosity, surface tension and density of solutions being analyzed. During nozzle operation, our software in real-time compiles the information, displays droplet size and distribution on the generators screen. This is useful for fine tuning particle size for thin film coatings and research for specialized processes requiring precise droplet size, uniformity and quality. Generators can be used as a stand alone or integrated into any bench top coating system or specialized stent, blood collection tube and balloon catheter medical coating machines.

As with many features programmed into our atomizer, Sonaer is leading the way with innovative ideas and the first to provide a VMD simulator for all process using ultrasonic technology.

VMD

Nozzle generator rack mount

Rack mount 3U size multi atomizer nozzle generator for industrial processes. Each rack mount generator can drive up to eight nozzles at one time. Any frequency nozzle can be operated which allows the customer to pick and choose different frequency and type nozzles for their application. With plug-in printed circuit board drivers, one for each nozzle all connected through a SPI network. The generator has all the same functions as our bench top above with the ability to select and individually operate each nozzle separately through one communication port using a PC.

The generator can be operated from the front panel or controlled through the communication connector at the rear. The rack mount generator gets power from an internal 24 VDC switching power supply and can accept input voltages from 90-260 VAC.
