Spray Pyrolysis |
Spray pyrolysis is a ceramic and nanoparticle synthesis technique in which precursor solutions are sprayed into a hot environment, where they react to form particles and solvent is evaporated away. These particles can then be collected at the outlet of the system, often in suspension or slurry through use of a bubbler or electrostatically via electrostatic precipitation. Sonaer particle generators or high-temperature nozzles can be adapted to interface with a tube furnace for spray-pyrolysis. Sonaer automated robotic coating systems can be equipped with high-temperature nozzle and hotplate to combine spray pyrolysis and substrate coating. Sonaer may also custom manufacture full, "turn-key" spray pyrolysis systems to meet a customer's application requirements. |

![]() HIGH TEMPERATURE NOZZLE FOR HEATED ENVIRONMENTS |
Sonaer makes a high operating temperature atomizer nozzle for heated environments. The nozzle tip can reach temperatures as high as 600 degrees C and can be used for a wide variety of solutions. The nozzle has comprised a long tip and threaded attachment for configuration into vessels. |
![]() ULTRASONIC NEBULIZER WITH FURNACE |
Sonaer makes a line of nebulizers for making micro and sub-micro droplets. Droplets are fabricated with the nebulizer and injected through a furnace for shrinking and solidifying the droplets into particles. The droplets can then be used for spray pyrolysis. |
